Archive for the 'Fun Things to Do' CategoryMug Up Tea RoomWelcome to the Mug Up Tea RoomCape Forchu Lightstation 1856 Hwy 304, Cape Forchu Yarmouth Nova Scotia The term “Mug Up” was used in coastal communities around the mid 1800’s to describe any snack or coffee break throughout the day or evening. “Mug Ups” were an important part of life for fishermen. They would gather and have a hearty meal and warm up whenever they could take a break. Today this nautical expression still describes a gathering of people for a drink and meal. Thank you for joining us at this beautiful ocean’s edge for a modern day “Mug Up”.

Archive for the 'Fun Things to Do' CategoryNew Tourism Project For Nova Scotia
As a business owner in Nova Scotia’s tourism/entertainment industry you have no doubt noticed that times are changing. Due to new technologies and a turbulent economy, many things including the way the world does business, the way people shop and the way people travel have changed dramatically. Traditional print advertising is no longer as effective as it once was, traditionally strong markets can no longer be relied upon to draw customers. As businesses owners we too must change, we must find new ways to promote ourselves, our businesses and our amazing province. Enaira Marketing is developing a revolutionary new tourism project exclusively for Nova Scotia. It allows you, the business owner to have a real online presence, a direct way to tell travelers about your business and what makes it special. ScotiaPages is an Online Travel Guide and HD TV Channel. ScotiaPages.com features listings for business, events, articles and much more! Enaira Marketing is a marketing company based out of Bangor (near Meteghan). |
